Thats what the gimps in Alliance Battles seem to do, and I hate them for it.... or at least the touchers... The Thumpers are still susceptible to Insidious Parasite.

I actually went and capped Offering of Blood or whatever it was for toucher and put together a build. It worked great in normal mode ascalon when I went off to get the free necromancer spells... The build guide says it's not great in PvE, but I'll have to play with it a bit.
I hadn't thought of Thumper...hmm, I can try that too. Thanks for the suggestion.

And you're not puzzled at all that the world's only original dragon for the past few hundred years or so.... has a clutch of eggs?
It might just be that the player character got puzzled as to how Glint managed to produce fertile eggs without a mate in the first place?

Glint reproduces a-sexually, it happens often in the animal world.

Toucher does actually work quite well. Its damage output can remain pretty constant and its only really counterable by the very high level SS necros outside of Nightfall and 'Cant touch this'. Sucks for utility though... BHA is better for Hard mode.

Define powerful? If you term powerful as the ability to rain meteors on someone then blow them to pieces with a Fireball or to rush in and slice 6 foes to death with an axe... then no.
Would you call a mesmer powerful? I would. The ability to make AI commit suicide for doing something is an extremely powerful tool, because they WILL do it regardless (apart from casting through Backfire if it will kill them anyway, they cast through Mistrust though ).
Rangers are just a different form of mesmer in that respect. Broadhead Arrow is extremely powerful in Hard Mode. Why spend ages trying to nuke a backline monk who only kites before the Meteor Shower even hits when you can just hit him with BHA and leave a warrior to interrupt it to death while you spread poison around on everything else while they kill themselves through Curses/Domination hexes. I've practically stopped using Fire ele heros. Warders keep you alive alot longer.

The whole attraction of hardmode for me is playing with actual people, i got really sick of nightfall PvE just being a single player game but with hardmode added ive actually been enjoying PvE a lot more.
It is really hard to find groups, even harder to find ones that are good enough to use ventrilo, the only way which ive managed so far is with friendslist and guild groups.

Its good that you like to play with people...I usually do not. I have a new born daughter and only a short amount of time to play...the last two nights I fell asleep during an attempt to vanquish an area.
SO far I have only done plains of Jarin and Zehlon Reach, but with all heros...you might be having diffuculty finding people because of that...Also, so far I have not seen an need for vent/TS...maybe in DOA..

I love you man, NF is the perfect example. I don't hate heroes, but if I advertise for a team in an outpost and i read: OMG use heroes NOOB! then I know there's something wrong ^^.

My hierarchy of playing preference:
Playing with friends (plus heroes) > playing with just AI assistants > playing with strangers.
What can I say, I dislike playing with strangers because it just takes too damn long to get going, and they're (generally speaking) too demanding.
When I log on, I want to be running around killing stuff within 5 minutes tops. If I can't manage that with real people, I'm off with heroes. They don't tell me what build to bring, they don't go afk at the drop of a hat and they don't mind if I myself go afk for whatever reason I see fit.
Playing with friends is different, because, well, they're friends.
Having said all that, I might have to start playing with strangers to tackle every aspect of HM. Half of my guildies (friends) aren't much interested in HM, and the other half aren't always playing when I am, and playing HM with just AI aid is getting a bit too time-consuming if not outright impossible. (Then again, perhaps PuGging will turn out to be an even worse waste of time. )

Not among amniotes.
In fact... as far as I'm aware it is completely impossible among amniotes.
Glint is an amniote... If you don't believe me then just take a look at her eggs...

And I'd imagine being dead wouldn't stop him either... if he is who / where I think he is.
